RED SEA CHRONICLES - DVD

TERRORISM IS PARIAH

Pariah.  I'll bet you haven't heard that word in a long time.

Pariah means: a social outcast, a person who is rejected by society and home, an untouchable.

"Terrorism is Pariah" was written in a shop window in Aden.  The owners of this store made their feelings clear.  They didn't approve of terrorism or of people who commit acts of terror.

We met lots of other people who echoed the same sentiments.  Yemen was the only place in the entire trip around the world where on two separate occasions people walked up to us on the street and said, "Welcome to our country.  Thank you for coming to visit."
